AR 15 Butt Stocks

Things change. Blame it on politics, but at one time, like AR parts, they were a dime a dozen.

Grizz

I'm not talking about importing . When I bought my first AR15 back in the 70's they were all full stocked 20" rifles . No one wanted a short barreled AR because it would be restricted. Later when all AR's became restricted & short barreled uppers & collapsible stocks started coming available everyone wanted to convert the rifles into carbines & by the looks of what is popular from dealers & the EE it is still the case . So one would think there would be lots of take off rifle butt stocks sitting around collecting dust .

They sort of come and go in waves. You will suddenly see a bunch over a period of a few weeks, and then nothing. They are actually quite popular as some people have been making retro builds complete with triangular handguards. I had to buy mine brand new since there seemed to be a dry spell for a while and I couldn't find one. They sell almost instantly when they hit the EE.

where are they?
Sitting in a box in someones basement with cassette tapes, PDA,s plastic handguards, acu wedge,s and 3 point slings........ :)

I hear you. I've had an add in the exchange looking for an A2 stock assembly for three weeks. I broke down and bought a new assembly from Wolverine.
