AR 15 chambered for cheap 7.62 by 39?

Any of you guys have one? I read that S&W has one. Sounds interesting. $ 200 for a case of almost 1200 rnds. No reloading, just leave the empties on the deck and douche out the action with break cleaner etc. I'm in. Thoughts?

When I'm shooting my 45-70 or 45acp and soon to be 50ae, damn right I clean up. But since the SKS boys are on scene, well I might as well join them

there was an upper in the EE belive it was a 16 carbine, couple days back, cant remember if its under parts and bits or black rifles though, a random one floats through as a whole rifle from time to time to

Since AR's run on DI system's and the ammo you are refering to is corrosive. Why would you want to shoot it out of an AR platform???

I would rather buy a cheap sks for a couple of hundread buck's instead of an upper that would cost more than a $1000. Now if we can get the Norinco cheap stuff it might be more worth it.

i know olympic arms makes a 7.62x39... ar15, but oly is crap apparently, but cheap.
