Just testing waters, not selling....

What do you think would be a fair price to ask for the following setup:

- Colt A2 AR-15 20" bbl with flat top Daniel Defence upper;
- Original upper with carrying handle;
- ACOG TAO1NSN scope with Docter Red Dot piggyed on top, mounted;
- 5 LAR-15 10 Rd. Mags with Tactipul plates
- 2 original 5/20 Mags

Honest opinions would be appreciated.

I would say 120-160 for the 10 rd mags depending on condition. 40 for the 5 rd mags.
Dont know about the optics but I would say between 1300 and 1800 maybe for the rifle. I just bought an AR so I looked at alot of prices. You can get some used ones for good prices right now.
But if your not selling whats it matter?

I agree with breaking the package up. you'll definately have a broader audience that will likely be willing to pay more individually than if it is all lumped together.

If you put it all back to original Colt, the rifle with the two original mags, if all in really good shape should go for around $1100
the flat-top upper receiver should go for around $200
the ACOG with doctor optic around $1300
The 5 Lar mags around $125

That's just over $2700 broken out - you'll be hard pressed to find someone willing to fork that out for the package.

I think if you were to sell the rifle as is with the flat top, you'd likely be throwing the carry handle upper in for free.
The rationale in my mind is that if someone is looking for a flat top 20" they'll get a new stag or rra for $1500 and it will be all factory.
If they are looking for a Colt A2 model - they want it all original, and right now how it sits, it's more like a parts gun (despite having all the original parts included).

Too bad for you right now it's a buyers market :) Normally, for a MINT Colt AR-15A2 20" HBAR (100% factory Colt) would fetch you a nice $1,750.00, I would pay that price happily if it was 100% MINT. But now in this satchurated buyers market you will most likely get around $1,400.00 because I can choose from 7 other Colt besides your all at competative prices...good luck, and if your rifle is a scratched up, poor-tast customized piece of sh*t, you wont even move it.

Post some clear hi-res pics of your rifle, and a reasonable price, and see what kind of offers you get.
