Hi folks, dont want to be that guy posting here and there but need to make some decisions quick as it will be awhile waiting once I make an order for "whatever". I'm building up another AR so here it goes...
I am looking at the Trijicon RMR sights lately. Considering one for a CQB sight on an AR using a Warne ramp mount paired up with a SWFA SS 1-4 scope. Since the warne ramp mount offers a small pic rail seems best fit would be a red dot style low profile sight.
As i've been finding out not only are these things hard to come by, but also the vids on you tube etc really do not give you a great idea on what they look like and how well they work in real life.
I am considering the trijicon rm-06 and 07 as they both have "adjustable" led broightness which I think would be a nice feature. However these are un obtanium anywhere in Canada
.
The dual illuminated model seems more available and are cheaper but I've heard from more then a few now that the amber dot is abit tricky to pick up quick with the eye? Looking for feedback on that and ones aboved mentioned.
Now being this will be on an AR platform, I suspect to go with either the 3.5 - 6.5moa dot, however I've consistently been told the 6-9moa is best for quick aquisition so leaning this way now.
Now I certainly would like to consider other options aside from the RMR or Delta point. If anyone has some experience or thoughts on this please let me know, I'm open to all suggestions as I'd rather spend money right the first go around.
Looking for some people who have either and their comments to better direct me towards a choice, either way looks like I'll be ordering it once decided and waiting awhile so I have some time to do some research and it begins here, thanks if you can share your experience with them, appreciate it.
