AR-15, first time firing?

So I went and did it and puchased a Norinco M4.

Any links to a first time cleaning regiment to get her going?
Or is it ok to just make sure the bore is unobstructed and fire away?
Apperantly it's already lubbed.

Definitely give that rifle a good first once over. Scrub that bore. There may be a near invisible film preservative in there that needs to go before you shoot. AR15.com has some good maintenance pages.
