I was looking for more information about when the AR-15 was non-restricted then was restricted, back to non-restricted and finally restricted again.

Does anyone know when they made it restricted? Also any information on the OIC.

The liberal government made it restricted. When Joe Clarke became PM , he made it non restricted Then the liberals came back
and they passed the new firearms act, making it restricted. So you see what voting liberal does.

If I recall Restricted Weapons Order SOR/92-467 signed by Mulroney Conservatives on 16 July, 1992.

It was Kim Campbell as Justice Minister who sent it through.

That cow also took away our 5+ round mags... now there's someone who needs to step in front of a bus...

Well I know one day I could take my Colt AR15A2 Government model to the camp and shoot 30rd mags into the pit out back. The next day I could only take it to the range and had to put rivets into the mags to hold only 5 rds but with a drill take 20 seconds to remove. Somehow I don't see how this was suppose to lower crime.
