I got 4 magazines with my DA556.
2x 30 and 2x 20.
The 20's run pretty good but the 30's fail to feed reliably.
I tried cycling them by loading/unloading a bunch of times to clean out any paint grit or whatever may be slightly binding its free movement.
Are these cheap 30/5's able to be "broken in" or should i just junk them?
Are there any tricks to making fussy magazines feed?
I have had it out twice now and it seemed to shoot better the second time around.

Not going to be easy if they're the internally pinned Norc/DA ones. Better off simply ordering a few quality mags

totally agree these norc/da mags have some funky L bracket welded inside which acts as the 5 round limiter as far as i can see. i will just buy a few more LAR15 mags as i would spend that much $ in my time trying to get those norc mags to run properly.

Junk them. 5 round mags that don't work flawlessly aren't worth the trouble of tinkering with. Throw them in the recycle bin or save them to give to that idiot neighbour/BIL when the apocalypse begins :d

Ive been using the metal USGI magazines for years, and have never had a problem. A couple ones that have seen many thousands of rounds, I disassembled them (had to drill out rivet to do so), cleaned them and put a light film of oil on the inside walls, then reassembled and re-riveted. It's all about what you'd like, I have Pmags, but I personally don't like them, while others swear by them. Call me old, but I'm not the biggest fan of plastic (or polymer, whatever it's made out of.). I agree with Runningfool! Pick yourself up some LAR15 pistol mags, exploit some loopholes, and have fun :)
