AR-15 reading

Hello there does anybody know of some good technical books on the AR-15. I looked on the net and it is basically the same stuff regurgitated over and over.

No problem
The barrel life numbers are super low on that page.
Also there's a sticky at the top of the green and black rifles page with lots of good reading.

I love how the AR15 Barrels guy refers to the gas tube ferrule as a "mushroom".

Try reading the Black Rifle I and II for a start.

Patrick Sweeny's books in his "The AR15" series are good, but somewhat dated already. So much has changed in the AR15 world in the last 5 years.

For what purpose? Reading it good for some things, doing is much better for others
