Will a scope, primarily designed for use on 5.56/.223, be able to withstand the recoil of a .308?
Specifically Vortex or Leupold. Night Force is way over my budget. Trying to keep it under $1000
I'm wary of putting optics on my SG 542 just incase it beats the scope to death and requires something more resilient than what "AR" scopes are built for.
