where and what are some of the good soft cases out there? preferably from one of the above sponsers. The gun is a stag with 16in barrel and 6 position stock. ( not sure what size to go with gun is in the mail on its way to me:))

wolverine sells some by the brand name ACE, and they seem nice, as i was just looking at one today for my cz858, but the curved cz mags are to tight for the mag pockets ( 5 of them, plus a zippered area).
i'm not sure if they're listed on the site, but ryan told me today they can get pretty much any of their models in, including pink ones, if thats your style:)
 
Soft guitar cases have large zipper pouches for music book & accessories. You could put mags etc, in them.
 
Skateboard bag works for me.

I have an eagle disreat rifle case. It works great, I can lock the zipper to a D ring, and it has lots of storage with the big side pocket. The 16" fit.......just, with the stock collapsed. I dont know if they come in different sizes or not. I got it from wolverine a few years ago.
 
also if you seperate the upper from the lower or your gun is 11.5" bbl or less you can buy one of those over under shotgun cases which works perfect, especially for 20" if you split it.

X2 for the voodoo drag bag. I have a 36inch one for my 10.5 ar. I bought a small master combination lock at can tire to lock the zippers together It has a divider to seperate two guns with hold down straps for each. 3 Pockets for mags and 2 pockets for pistols (also lockable) shoulder straps and backpack straps, molle straps on the outside for other stuff, and it was $55 plus shipping. It came to less than a hundred bucks all in.

where cna I buy a voodoo drag bag from? and I wouldlike one to be fairly fitted to the rifle like around 36 - 42 inches.

Just a question and I don't mean to hijack your thread, but I have a similar AR and was under the assumption that since it is restricted it needs to be in a locked hard case (not easily broken into) when transporting?

If I assumed wrong, then I'll be getting myself a soft case.

Lots of guys carry restricted in locked soft cases. The hard ones are no "hard"er to break into, just smash them against a curb or pop the locks up with a screwdriver.
