I have a 870 tactical, and am looking into a stock swap. I wanted a knoxx at first but haven't heard many positive things about it. Now I've seen a couple ar-15 adapters and am wondering which one will best suit my needs, I'm looking for one with good fit and finish and durability. So since I'm still a newbie am asking you guys for options and opinions! Oh and I mainly use this gun out in the bush just dicking around if that helps.

are you running optics or just bead sight? High tube adapter is for optics low is for bead sight
The s&j with the rail is ###y as hell if you want the weight of the rail if not the messa low/leo is what you would want

I'm just running the stock ghost rings for now, but may want to add a red dot in the future. I like the look of the Mesa Leo adapter, will it be ok if I add a red dot later on?

The Mesa High Tube Adapter kit is slick. Makes the shotgun feel more AR like. Think the LEO kit would be good for bead sights and ghost rings, but the High Tube kit is perfect for optics. Combine either of those kits with the Enidine recoil buffer, and you can shoot slugs all day long and not feel a thing.

For quality and versatility the Cadex one is hard to beat.

It can be found here on our website. More are on the way.
