I have an interest in these rifles as I would like to grab something "black", but want a rifle that would double as a coyote rifel as well. Is it reasonable to think one of these rifles could do 1.5 MOA. I'd like some real life experience feedback. Thanks.

They are quite accurate out of the box if broken in well and not abused. The biggest improvement is a drop in trigger because the factory unit is awful. Mine will consistently shoot under 1.5". I have gotten 1" groups with good handloads. As a dog rifle I would say 200yds max. Mounting a bipod is a real treat but it can be done.

1.5 MOA is a reasonable expectation for accuracy.Icq is right on with his post.I replaced the trigger in mine with a Jard 3lb. from Brownell's and, although not really a high end replacement,it's a big improvement over the original.I've shot a couple yotes with it,they were close(30'),but it would do the job @ 200 yds no prob. With the faster twist, they will shoot some heavier pills,I've shot 75's with good success, but mostly use 60 sp or vmax for hunting and 55 fmj for fun. What's the recommended break-in procedure?

Breakin is probably the most controversial topics. Here is what I did.

1. shoot 1 clean (repeat 5 times)
2. shoot 3 clean (repeat 5 times)
3. shoot 5 clean (repeat 2 times) done

After cleaning I oiled the bore and passed a dry patch to remove the excess oil. I was told never to shoot a dry bore.

Actually, the 180B was the first rifle I have owned that included break in procedure in the instructions. Similar to above post.

That break in is similar to what I use with my bolt guns. I suggest using "Gun Juice" after each cleaning during the break in. I used this product when I broke in my Kreiger barrelled .308, and although I did not reduce my break in round count, they claim you can, and you end up an easy to clean slick barrel.
