So...What is the first thing you ar-180b owners dumped $$$ into? What is the best fully done-up set up consist of? I am recieving my 'stock' one very soon and have a bonus check to burn through before stupid things like mortgage and bills get addressed.

Pics are VERY appreciated

I put an M4 stock on mine. Then I got an original AR180 gas block and monified it to fit my AR180B so I could have a bayonet lug. By monday I plan to switch to a right-side safty, but only cause I'm a lefty.

Must people go with a new stock of some sort, followed by new rails/handguards. I personally like the original handguards, plain as they are.

definatly get some real rails from stormwerks before you do anything after that its mostly just bling also make sure the mag will feed properly I had to put abit of jb weld in between the trigger gaurd and mag to keep it tight and forward I have a folding stock and i wish i had bought the telescoping one cuz i never shoot it folded

Mine folds and collapses:

Has a tri-rail riser mount with FL and laser mounted along with the compact scope. Am waiting for the fore end rail system so I can remount all the extra stuff. Checkout Stormwerkz.com and do a search on this site for pimped out 180Bs

Just go and get a crate of .223 from Reliable to start with. Polish that off first and then see if there is anything that you really should be doing as far as messing with your rifle.

Um... you aren't supposed to. I'm very glad I got the folder, fits so nicely in the truck or under my trench coat at church. :D

Seriously though, the folder is great. The only thing holding me back from putting an M4 stock on is that it woun't even make the rifle any shorter.

Very first mod is a scope mount from Stormwerkz. Full stop. The rail is the only mod you need, everything after that is just bling.

wow...those are some very pretty rifles. I cant wait to get mine.

What kind of optics do you guys suggest? I am not scope expert and I want this gun for about 100-200m top use. Is a red-dot style a good idea? I understand they do not provide any magnification...Any other options that aren't the same $$$ as the rifle? I like the look of yours Armedsask...that is just awesome...who's kidding...I love all these pics!
