Howdy,

Considering various rifle options for my beloved right now, and wondering if somebody in the Lower Mainland with an AR-180B might be willing to allow a grope session / test drive?

My wee lass and I regularly shoot at POCO, would supply own ammo, and bring along my Classic Green for your temporary amusement.

Thanks in advance for reading, and for any favourable responses!

Cheers,

Neal

I haven't really seen any up at POCO either. Maybe people aren't being stingy, but it's cause they don't own one. My real question is why would you want a 180B when you got a Green Classic at home? LOL!

I have a blk spec. but it is just a brother from a diff. coloured mother. I have yet to see one up there and I am there WAY TO MUCH...I'll keep an eye out for ya thought. If you have a line on one I say buy it! Worst come to worst you can sell it for the same or more than you bought it for.

I do have a Swiss, and they will have to pry it from my cold dead fingers... My dearest, however, finds it a bit over-engineered for her build, and would be interested in something lighter weight.

And the non-restricted world just rocks!

;)

I did... but it's sold :)

They are very cool rifles - Imagine a non-restricted AR-15 with slightly looser tolerances (talking about where the upper meets with the lower); this easily negated by the fact that it uses a piston instead of tube.

Now, I'm in the process of building a shorty AR :p
Would I get an AR180B again? Sure would, for the price... they're greeeeeeat!

Note: I've seen a few threads now with people "considering" the AR-180B like there was one sitting on a shelf at the corner store - don't consider, BUY!!! They are almost impossible to get and guranteed if you see one in a store today it will be gone tomorrow (Wolverine is backlogged on them - basically if you want one, you might have one in a year with the way things are going ;)).

This is extremely easy to fix. My AR180B locks up right solid with no movement between recievers.

Hey Neal

I've got a super light (feels like tin) CZ858 if you're interested. :D

:beerchug: Non-restricted of course!

Apologies for my absence, folks - Damn this job!

Anyway, to those of you in the neighbourhood who have expressed some availability, I thank you in advance.

I do actually have a trip planned up to PoCo on Monday morning (10:00am-ish)... Was just gonna be doing handgun stuff, but would be more than happy to bring the Swiss along if one of you fine folks is still willing to bring along your hardware.

If anybody's available for a Monday morning meet, drop me a PM.

Cheers,

Neal

I'll let you shoot mine. I live in Detroit area right across the Detroit River from Windsor , Ontario. Just down the road from you. I'll bring along the AK's---Romanian , Bulgarian , and a Russian VEPR. I'll even bring the FAL. Afterwords , we'll go back to Windsor and get a good meal in little Italy.

Damn, anyone living out east should take leek up on that :) Unfortunately 'British Columbia' (i.e. Vancouver) is above Washington State; pretty far from Detroit.
