The AR57 rifle is designed for use in any climate and ready for the most extreme use you can give it. Sand and mud will normally clog and jam most rifles and carbines yet have very little effect on the AR57 due to its simplicity and strength. The AR57 is more than a challenge to any SMG, carbine or military rifle in the areas of accuracy, ergonomics, reliability and durability.

Designed as a upper that can be attached to any M16/AR15 lower, it is not dependent on the lower for reliability of ejection or accuracy. The AR57 features ambidextrous cocking handle and magazine release levers with brass ejection out the bottom of the magazine well. The barrel is free floating for improved accuracy and includes a standard M16 flash hider.

Note-for LEO and Gov't models- call for more information.

Here is another pic with the suggested price :)
Avail in Dec 06 for MSRP $695

Would this be a good and cheap alternative to the P-90?

Hmm.. what else can they do with AR15s? How long do you guys reckin before they make an AR with artificial intelligence. "Commies to the left Mr. Operator. Shall I pull the trigger or you?"

Make it shorter and new mags that fit in the AR magwell.
Having two mag options is also not a bad idea...perhaps a box mag with an internal adapter placed inside the magwell like how you can do the same thing with sten mags for the OlyArms 9mm uppers

I wonder if the FN 57 pistol mag will fit into the magwell of an AR15?

;)

From the pics I think it's only the upper offered and the magwell on the AR lower will not be used since it seems to be using a P90 mag on top of the barrel.

Duh...now I feel dumb.

Magwell on the AR is being used for downward ejection of spent casings.

That's what I get for sleeping in the afternoon :D

It would eject like my lm7 down and out the mag well.. you could keep a stripped mag as a brass catcher.. I know those magazines look strange but they sure seem to function well.. I have yet to have any trouble with my ps90 and an upper that I can swap mags with looks very desirable..
I have been watching the progress, and they seem to keep pushing the release date back. they keep promising soon.. but from the web site they appear to have alot of irons in the fire..
I like theround as it appears very accurate, and it is easy on the ears..I have only shot 196 but have some 195 and 197 to test as well.

Rhineland can't make a 22 properly, I wouldnt trust them for an upper. Plus the impossible to find caliber makes it a pretty crappy choice. No 50rds mags, no happy switch, no reason to buy.
