AR Accessories

Ar parts can't be exported LEGALLY from the states without an export permit.Just buy from Canadian dealers like the ones above and you will be good to go.

I just returned from Las Vegas. Hit several gun shops. Guess what I discovered ?

Prices are better (NO Shzt , Sherlock LOL) here on the EE Forum. I was rather pisstov to discover that AR15 mags (30 rounders that needed drilling and riveting) were $ 30 apiece. Hey, they are cheaper at Brownell's. And yes, my parents in Vegas have drill, bits, and rivet gun to prep the magazines for their trip north to the People's Republik of Kanada.

I did not buy a single gun thingy, accessory, gadget, or what have you down in the States. I'm so happy to come back here and support lots of AR goodies found on the EE Forum (Parts and Bits section). And I know my prices well, too. :) I don't want to rain on anybody's parade, but frankly, we have got a fabulous community right here at CGNutz.

Okay, back to your question about AR stuff. If I needed a specialty part FAST and RFN (right now), then I go to TSE, Wolverine, and Mark at Questar. They happen to be great suppliers and also board sponsors. If they don't have it.... for example I needed a 1/2" riser plate that was 7" long.... Yankee Hill Machine Tool (or something like that). I needed it fast. Then I went to Brownells in USA. In accordance with Dept of State's Export rules, my order was beneath the $ 100 ceiling.

Remember, we are being monitored ! ;)

Hope this helps,
Barney

I'm USA citizen and whom ever said it is right most of the prices are right on with our neighbors up north, with the exclusion of some start-up companies and certain discounts you can apply for. I'll say look into the Leapers brand or UTG( I do not know what they go by in canada). I've owned and still use several of their scopes, and my new favorite is a hand guard of theirs that goes for around $70 in the states, not a free floating hand guard though, but a very ingenious mounting system that doesn't move.
