A little bit, I got my barrel nut on with an AR-15 Armours wrench but I had to hold it off center of the barrel and use the side with the 3 little pieces sticking off it

Probably not. It will depend on the barrel nut.

Is it forged? All the cast ones I have used to date have been absolute crap, no need to mention where they were mass produced.
