yes you need a bayonet lug, unless you have duct tape in which case you wont need one.

also the buck m9 bayonet is a very nice piece of kit if you can find one... I have one of the cdn versions with the maple leaf on it and it is nice as well but kind of generic.... I have it strapped to my first aid kit

scares the patients.... "whats that for?"
