ar buffer help

hey guys.

i got a buffer kit from a sponsor on the site and installed it on my lower. i havnt shot it yet but i did put an upper on and racked it a few times.
after racking it i took a look at the buffer and its been dented by the pin holding it in. i have a norc and ive never seen this. is this normal?
not sure if it will aslt long after some shooting if it dents this easy and if you look at it at an angle you can see some type of cracking of the finish?

I don't think this is going to cause any problems at all man.
It's an AR, just fire it. It's not going to explode.

I'm no gun smith here but I highly doubt there is any cause for concern.

Unless the buffer somehow sheers over the detent and jams into the upper receiver or something lol

I would not stress over it Sir.
