AR buffer spring question?

Is there a difference between a standard .223 buffer spring and buffer and a 9mm buffer spring and buffer or are they virtually the same thing? Thanks

AFAIK, the spring is the same but the buffer on the 9mm is somewhat heavier than the standard .223 buffer... At least with the telestock type buffer tubes...
