AR bug

Got bitten hard by AR bug. I just finished my Norc M4 project and I'm thinking of getting into another AR project again. This time it will be shorter.

What are pros and cons? Cant decide on either 10.5 or 11.5 barrel.
Please let me know what you think. TIA.

My range is only 100 yards. So I have a limited amount of testing with my 10.5 but as it sits right now I would have no need to go longer.... And I can hold tight groups at 100 with it

And "head shots" at 200 are also no problems with the 10.5"

What are pros and cons?

Cons : terminal ballistics (if you shoot only paper, it doesn't matter)
Pros : pretty much everything else...

I would look into building a quality upper, then you can just swap back and forth using the same lower. Thats my next project... once I get tired of the new SCAR... .

I have a 16" LMT Mpr that I am now going to have to get a shorty barrel for.
