AR Eotech Position

Hi Everyone,

I got my magnifier for my red dot. I am running this on a Colt with a Matech backup site and Eotech XPS3 Red dot. I tried to place the magnifier on the rail but it fits very tight. Just wondering if I could mount the XPS like in the picture or is that to far forward. As you can see the bottom of the XPS is not completely on the top rail.

Try it! If it holds zero why not?

You'll want both engaged on the rail.

You really should have the eotech mount fully contacting on the upper receiver rail but really doesn't matter if it holds zero, your GTG!

plus isnt that a .22 cal range toy.
