Just got a brand new DD and had a quick question. Pulled apart the BCG after arrival to inspect etc. Found something that looked like rust. Cleaned off what i could and this is what was left. Question is, does this look normal/ok ?

That is a NEW PART? WTF? Looks like it was thrown in a centrifuge with some ball bearings for company

Ok, so this is not normal. This is my first DI and DD ...ugh. I emailed the company i bought it from, lets see what happens i guess.

This is carbon that may be from factory of dealer testing. It has been fired some where that is for sure.

Looks like a used bolt with the carbon cleaned off with a steak knife.
