I am contemplating a AR build and wondering what’s the best bang for your buck AR Lower. I don’t want anything to crazy as it’s my first

Just get a Stag 10. Why waste money on a restricted when a virtually identical Non-Restricted is available?

is their really a big difference between lowers besides roll marks? Will a diemaco lower fit a KAC upper?

Of course a Diemaco lower will fit a KAC upper, but so will an Aero, with the cost of an LPK difference between the two. If you look really hard, you'll find you can get a KAC lower as well.
