I read on here before but can not find. If I buy a stripped lower receiver will I get a reg #? I would like to do my part to support AR ownership but don't have the funds for an AR at the moment. I just bought an xcr and want to focus on that rifle
The regulations require a restricted firearm to be rendered inoperable by a locking device and stored in a locked container. You cannot put a trigger lock on a stripped AR lower - but you can apply a locking device.
