correct me if I'm wrong here, when the guy is thumping the aluminum mag and the other mag with a sledge hammer, don't the shells that are still in the the mag they're advertising add strenght?
 
I saw these long ago, but gave up on hope because there's really very few ways to limit them for legal importation.

As suggested, might as well use stripper clips for now.

Ya, I would tend to think that too. Maybe they offer some kind of support to the wall so the bending section is reduced. Also they look to be made of thicker material (shotgun test). Don't know if our neighbors are going to be willing to pay 35$ per mag just to save some time.

Anyway, they seem interesting, but not for the Canuck market...

yes, they do. the bullets inside the mag create a much more solid object. it's a bit like having a box full of paper on top of an empty box and then seeing which one crumples first when you step on it.

plus, think of how fast you could throw five rounds in that
