AR noob

Hi all! For the past few years i have been debating on buying/building an AR, but have always been intimidated but the sheer number of manufacturers out there. It seems everyone and their dog is producing uppers, lowers, and misc parts now-a-days. I think i have finally narrowed my search down to a Socom Supply CQB 10.5" upper and an ATR AT15 lower but I have a few questions i would love some input on.

Are Socom Supply and Noveske the only companies to make uppers using Vltor monolithic uppers? And if so what are your opinions on their products? I've been to both websites and they look exactly the same, so does socom build their uppers to Noveske specs or just import them? I guess thats all if anymore questions pop up i'll post them later. Thanks.

Socom supply lowers and Noveske lowers are one in the same.They are made by Noveske.The lowers are realy good quality,and a good choise for your build.Just go with the best price you can get.Another option for you,seems you are going with the ATRS lower is just to get Rick and the boys to build her for you.I have a couple of AR's but my ATRS AT15 is buy far the best.
