it's just copied from the US site. in the states only pistols or registered SBR are allowed to have short barrels. no such rules in canada.
SBR = Short Barreled Rifles
NFA = National Firearms Act
If I'm not mistaken, they have to pay a $200 transfer tax to the BATF, each time it sells. Same with Destructive Devices, most guns over .50 cal.
It must be horrible to live under such restrictive laws.
