Hey guys. I am looking for a AR stock adapter for my Grizzly Mag Fed (which I will get soon). I do not know which I should get tho! Here is the options I know of:

Mesa High Tube
Mesa Low Tube
Mesa LEO
ETA S2AR
NEA Adaptor

Those are pretty much the only ones I know of that are available in Canada besides Tapco and other stuff. I want to put on a Magpul CTR stock on it so it has to accept an aftermarket stock (or stock and buffer tube)

My Opinions/Guesses:
Mesa High Tube is out
NEA and S2AR will have shorter LOP's it seems
Mesa Low Tube and LEO will have stock height
S2AR seems to have a medium height (it between high tube and low tube), which I like...and it is the best looking

Question:
1. Are there any other options?
2. Mesa Low Tube and LEO have the same LOP and height right?
3. Is there something out there that has a longer (or stock) LOP and a "medium height" like the S2AR? That would be number one

I think I will use a red dot on my shotgun so I could probably get the S2AR and be fine with either red dot and the stock sights. Another option is the LEO and if it is too low I can get a riser for the CTR.
Any input guys?

I bought the S2AR. My grizzly has an Aimpoint H1 with the low mount. The stock sits much too high to use the red dot. You need a higher optic mount to use the S2AR.

I now use the Mesa LEO adapter. It is the perfect height for me with the grizzly ghost rings, and slightly low for perfect use with the Aimpoint. I still use it with the red dot as its close enough. If I had a CTR stock I would try the lowest riser.

here is mine with the S2AR:

there is unfortunately a gap between them but function is not affected. Once you get an AR stock, the LOP is naturally adjustable.

I dont think it sits too high for the stock ghost rings or for a red dot at all

Yeah I was talking to your about your gun in another thread haha, I thought you tightened up the gap? I wonder if it is just your grizzly and/or S2AR that does that. Or if all S2AR's will have that gap on the Grizzly Mags

oops yeah tac shotguns pic thread. yah no idea if its all or just mine. the S2AR was perfect fit on my 870 wingmaster

Hmm. Hopefully someone chimes in. I really do like the S2AR, and length of pull will be not bad with adjustable stocks. Where did you get yours at?

I had a S2AR got it from SFRC. I sold it as i didnt like the gap and it totaly fked up the sights. It would work well with a medium red dot though.

Strange. The S2ar adaptor worked on every gun we tried it on.
More likely your gun is out of spec then the adaptor.

I have A norinco yj12-2 it's probibly not the same as a griz mag. Notice the bottom contour lines dont match up and you had to torque the crap out of it to get the ears on the topside to seat.

This is how my hogue stock sits. I've tryed both the ambi quick detach sling plate and the regular one, to try and smooth the transition out with no luck.

out of spec or just completly different? I think it's just a much heavyer reciever than the 870.
