AR stock replacement

I am wondering how I tell whether I a commercial or a mil spec stock when I go to replace the one that came on my AR. Thanks for the help

What brand rifle is it?

It's a dpms. One of the used ones irunguns.ca brought in back in July

Get a caliper and measure the diameter of the tube as per diagram on post #2.

Some Commercial tubes does not have the slanted rear, just watch for that. Best to measure the diameter of the tube.
