So, running a 16 inch Daniel Defense DDM4V5 with a 15" Samsom rail, Matador Arms Stinger and a bunch of other stuff. It currently has a Strike Industries Viper stock, however I want something a little more solid. I was looking at either a Magpul UBR or an Vltor EMOD stock, I have a mil buffer tube. Thoughts? Purpose is 3gun/tactical training.

B5 sopmod for the win.
Incredibly durable and strong, I had one stoppage that jammed the brass in the chamber and I had to mortar the piss out of it on a work bench to free it up.

My initial plan was for the vltor emod but was turned off of it when someone told me a beard tends to get stuck in it. Went with the sopmod and never looked back.

Now I have triplets.

Hey foxalpha, what's the reason for the paracord/or bungee cord looped through your stock and around the buffer tube.

I'll stuff the sling in there to hold it in place. A lot easier to pull my rifle out of the safe when the sling isn't getting caught and dragging 5 other rifles with it.

Probably either for looks or mud and grit ;)
I don't know why, the *standard* sopmods never turned my crank but I should fondle them more before anything gets bought.

If you're local, I can always tear one off of a rifle and let you check it out. I was the same way, not the prettiest stock on the market but it's sheer ruggedness, durability and comfort won me over.
