AR uppers in .22lr available to us Canadians?

Just ordered a NEA lower and while im waiting for that to come in iv'e been looking for a dedicated upper in .22lr.

The only one i could find thats available in Canada is the Chiappa upper.

Ive seen the Spikes, CMMG, and Nordic Components but i havent seen anyone who sells/ships them to Canada.

Epps had an awesome upper called the Razorback I think, belt fed .22 upper!

I too am looking to buy a high quality 22 upper.I sent an email to Dlask arms looking to get a couple built.that was 2 weeks ago.I talked to Joe directly on the phone as well.he seemed very interested but I haven't heard anything back.I also called nordic components about their products.they don't do international sales,but they were willing to coordinate efforts with Brownells(who will send these units north) one important point here is if you are buying from the US,no flash hider or threaded muzzle.I am presently waiting for Nordic to make up and send a pair to Brownells for me.I would also grab a unit from Dlask if/when he contacts me.Hope this info helps,pm me if you want more info.

I assume that the cmmg conversion doesn't have the barrel. How would a twist rate of 1 in 9 effect the bullet? Also what needs to be done to the trigger?

the cmmg upper works well, after it broke in (1000 rounds) its functioned flawlessly for the next 1500

is the cmmg a full upper or just the .22 bolt carrier group to swap out? im looking for a dedicated upper barrel and all.

Good question. I also am looking for a full upper. I've found a few dpms and spikes but who sells them here in Canada?

CMMG is a full upper, complete with BCG and CH. Just need sights/optics. Barrel is a 1:16 twist. Mine fed MiniMags and Dynapoints flawlessly from the get-go. There is a pic that I just posted in another thread. It is post #1060. The MOE handguards are not stock either.

Looks awesome, however where does it say it comes with a barrel?
I went to the CMMG website and it has the alpha, to the India Kits but none come with barrels.

If you want an CMMG barrel you can order it from Brownells. You'll need to do some paperwork though.

Found the whole rifle on Questar! I was looking for conversion kits. I can't find a cost on only the Upper.

found the upper only, its from an old link though and couldn't find it by just browsing their website so not sure if they still offer it.

Ive heard good things about both the CMMG and Chiappa, not really sure if the CMMG can justify the extra $100 i could put towards a new stock or handguard.

ive seen sites that sell the evolution conversion bolt carrier group but not the whole uppers. Ill probably end up going with the Chiappa. Allready saved up more then half of it so should have one soon.
