Using corrosive ammo in a DI gas system? Not sure is a good idea for your beautiful rifle.

I dont see a problem here. In fact, what corrosive salts can do to aluminium upper receiver, chrome lined SS barrel? Specially after treated with Gunzilla right after use? I have about 3 thousand rounds trough this upper with not a single sign of corrosion. That is actually the point - use cheap surplus in the modern system and enjoy both price of the ammo and AR platform. Gas tube is easy to replace if it goes rust.

Lower: Armalite with Geissele Super Semi-Automatic trigger, H2 buffer/

I hate to rain on a parade, but that rear back up site isn't going to be much use with the scope mounted over top of it like that, unless you intend on taking the scope off entirely. From the point of view that "they're only there for when the scope fails catastrophically, in which case I need to take it off anyway," it works, but if you want to test/drill with your back up sights every so often, no to mention make sure they're still zeroed, then you're going to run into problems.

If the eye relief allows for it, you might want to consider moving the scope forward. If not, maybe get some 45 degree offset rails and mount the BUIS to it.

Looks like a nice build though otherwise
