FACTS:
My Adcor BEAR upper recently experienced a minor breakdown. I noticed that the rear lugs of the forward charging handle had sheared off. I contacted Adcor, and since there is no longer a Canadian distributor, sending the upper back and forth across the border for warranty repairs looked to be cumbersome.
Once I got Adcor on the horn, they've been quite helpful. They're now willing to send me the replacement part, plus their proprietary wrench. I've also ordered their upgraded/extended key-mod rail system. They assure me the swap is fairly simple with their wrench and a torque wrench.
ISSUE:
I lack both a torque wrench and a table vice.
REQUEST:
Is there anyone in the Ottawa area with these tools, ideally with a bit of AR wrenching experience, who would be willing to spend an hour and help me out? I'm happy to pay in beer/booze. I don't anticipate the work will be difficult - it's more of a matter of a lack of tools.
