AR15 10.5 at 200 yards

Ammo used: 62gr Barnaul steel case.

Took my 10.5 inch Aero upper out to 200 yards today using iron sights. First four shots, couldn't believe it. Had another club member sign it, since he and I were shocked. Had him sign it just to prove it to my buddy. Not sure what the size of the group is but for iron sights and cheap ammo I'm pretty happy with that. Rear sight is your basic poly Magpul.

I have found Barnaul ammunition to be accurate out of all my rifles. I will shoot it once in a while but I usually shoot PMC bronze. It is usually readily available and only 11.99/box and is another fantastic ammunition choice for training or plinking.

Does free float really do that much at this range? I thought it was for longer range, where it really shines.

every bits of it help. i'd say even from a 100m and on, but yes anything past 200m will see a more significant factor
