I need someone to take my DPMS .22LR AP4 upper and replace the barrel with a match barrel using the same profile as the original barrel which is the M4 16" contoured barrel.
I had sent this puppy in to DPMS because it wouldn't shoot better than 2" at 50 yds. They've had it five weeks now and it doesn't sound like its much of a priority to get it back to me with a good shooting barrel.
It may be because they don't have any barrels that shoot well in the first place. I had one of their CMP 20" .22LR uppers and it would'nt shoot worth a ####. After sending it back they tried a bunch more 20" barrels and nothing they had would shoot under 1" at 50yds. Thats how I ended up with the AP4 upper.
Anyways, I'm fed up and I am going to get them to send it back to me and I'll deal with it myself. Can someone recommend a good gunsmith to do a job like this.
