AR15 7.62x39 upper options?

I was thinking of buying another rifle in .308/7.62, but the gun shop at my range has a NEA upper in 7.62x39 in stock and Ive been thinking about buying that. Is there any other options for a 7.62x39 upper that will fit a Ar15 lower other then NEA? I would even like to build one from parts if possible, but I am not familiar with which companies make parts for these kind of AR15/7.62 upper combos

Build it yourself, Brownell has their house brand 7.62x39 barrel it comes with the bolt for less than $300, it is a no brainer.

Thanks does that barrel require any special bolts or upper receivers? I would prefer to piece it together from parts, and get more involved with building from scratch. That is one big reason I didnt jump on the NEA complete upper

putting parts together is just assembly, building from scratch is machining all the parts yourself.

These threads are confusing when people post of "builds" and their new "rigs" yet I see nothing being built and no pics of semi trucks......

barrel and bolt are the only things that are different, every thing else is just standard AR 15 components.
