AR15 BCG Issue

Hey All,

I have been having an issue with an NEA BCG I have...

It seems that no matter what AR15 I put it in the BCG does not seem to either extract or eject the casing consistently - it strips a new round off the mag but the empty case does not eject consistently.

I have tested this BCG on 3 different AR15's that are all known to work 100% without issue... There is no damage to the BCG that i can tell... pins and spring all look / appear to be fine.



Anyone have any thoughts?

Remove the cam pin and hold the BCG upside down. If the bolt falls out, you need new gas rings.

I had a similar issue. I replaced the Extractor Spring Donut O-Ring with the Extractor Spring. It fixed my intermittent FTE issue.

Yes it's a nea bcg. Throw it in the garbage and get something else... anything else really.

Funny that a 99$ Brownells TiN bolt is better machined and put together.

There's your problem

As R34 said, your biggest problem is that it's NEA. Send it back for replacement. They have lifetime warranty on their junk.
