Recently bought a High Standard bolt. Noticed it had `9 MP` engraved on it.
I know what the 'MP' stands for. What about the '9'?
I know it's not a 9mm bolt
so is the '9' just High Standard's brand designator (Like MPC for Colt or MPF for FN?), or does it stand for something else?
And because I know it's going to be mentioned in at least a dozen responses, I do know what the MP stands for, I'm just curious about the number
