I'm just getting into AR's so I need a little help. When a company lists the part " RH bolt carrier complete", for approx 160 on sale, does that mean the bolt is included? I'm assuming it does, but I want to confirm before I order, it arrives, then I have to reorder a bolt and wait another few weeks before I can go shooting. I've tried asking the company but no one answers me after numerous emails.

Thanks for the help. :)

I would guess that it means just the bolt carrier along with the attached gas key, minus the bolt itself and probably no firing pin or firing pin retaining pin.

But yeah, just call or email em to verify.

The only answer that will be of any real use to you is the one from your supplier.
Complete bolt carrier assembly? Complete bolt carrier? Complete carrier assembly with complete bolt assembly?
Until you make contact with your supplier, and confirm exactly what you are getting, you will not know for sure.

It was from ArmsEast, I was just hoping someone here had bought the part before, so I wouldn't have to pay long distance charges for the phone call. I guess I'll bite the proverbial bullet and call tomorrow.

It usually implies a part ready to shove in your AR and 'make some noise'.
Another way it is listed is BCG 'Bolt Carrier Group'....
But, as everyone else has (eventually!) mentioned, it is best to call and check.

Is the price typical of a entire carrier group? Thats why I was hoping people with more experience in AR's would tell me that the price of $160(sale price), is typical of both a bolt and the bolt carrier.

Thanks for the help foxbat.

Sounds like it's the complete assy, including bolt. IIRC the normal price from Arms East was just under $180.

another way to tell is if the the bolt is listed seperately- we always referred to it as " bolt carrier complete" meant the carrier. key, and the screws- bolt complete meant the bolt , extractor, springs and firing pin-the colt manual ( which i'm looking at) lists all the parts seperately-however, the gunparts catalogue lists as "bolt complete" and carrier complete" - when we had the old fnc1, the bolt was what fitted inside the carrier( rat tail) - we were often issued ( for drill) fns with no bolts
