AR15 carbine buffer tubes (milspec)

Hi guys, needed soem help please. Anyone know if the milspec buffertubes require a specific milspec sized end plate?

I was hoping to get a YHM or similar sling adapter and was hoping that it would work with the milspec buffertube (needed for the Magpul CTR)

The outer threads on both tubes need to be the same size to screw into the receiver, so yes, same end plate.

Thats what I thought as well. but the non milspec end plates seem tighter on the milspec tube ( I have 4 to work with and all seem too tight). Ill work on it.
