I've ordered my second AR and would like to get a sling. I'm leaning towards the UDC Padded Bungee Single Point Sling by blue force gear.
Does anyone have this? Any better slings? And will I need an adapter to mount it if so which one?
Thanks

edit - any suggestions for a light for the AR would be great, nothing too expensive:)

Got the VTAC (plastic buckles one). Done multiple field exercise, one deployment. It's been wet, muddy and stayed too long at the sun. Almost looks A1. It's a 2 points tho.

Unless your AR is a PDW (7 1/2 inch barrel) get a 2 point sling, single point slings are a PITA with any rifle length barrel. Unless you're 6'4", I've seen tall guys get away with 10 1/2 inch barrels on single points. The Vickers is the way to go.

I may be in the minority, but I actually like my magpul MS4 more than my VCAS sling. Easy to switch between 1 and 2 point use if you have QD points.

we do until we need to kneel down and put someone in zap straps. 2 point slings are my fav, you turn it onto your back when needing to do work with two hands. and swing it back when done.

Who would have a black padded VCAS with tri-glide in stock in Canada? What else would I need for mounting? I haven't received the rifle yet. Putting the new 15.7 Colt IUR together with a SA 20 if that helps.

One Shot Tactical is the place. The IUR has a QD attachment on the handguard so you are going to want a QD attachment to go with your sling. For the rear attachment, it depends on what type of stock or sling plate you are going with.
