AR15 stripper clips

I think if you buy an ammo can of the American eagle xm855 ammo it comes on stripper clips and with the tool. Failing that, Amazon or eBay.

Another source is a range where law enforcement/military trains. IVI ammunition they use comes on the thermold strippers and they often leave them behind.
 
Put up a wtb ad on the EE. A buddy of mine gave me all of his that he had, might be someone near you that had a bunch.
 
Frontier firearms has the steel ones on sale for $17 per 20 clips right now. Decent price. I prefer the thermold plastic ones, but it appears on a quick google search that they are not commonly available anymore... I bought mine in bulk maybe 7 years ago.

The Maglula Striplula is probably the best stripper clip loader on the market if you don't mind it being a bit bulky, but they are commonly available for around $40 online. Otherwise search around and you can probably find a USGI style basic stripper clip loader that is smaller but a bit harder on the fingers to load.
 
When one of the local ranges is rented out to the police, after they go though, lots of the plastic ones around
 
There's a big lack of stripper clip availability up here.

I've been thinking about obtaining a metric #### ton of USGI stripper clips to resell here, however I don't know if there's enough demand. 17$ for 20 clips at Frontier isn't a good deal at all.

Maybe the new Cross 10/10 mags would increase demand.

You weren't the only one thinking it, almost did it.

My buddy gave me a baggie of the nato 308 clips, what are they good for up here?
 
I got a few hundred GI steel stripper clips off ebay a few years ago. Had way too many so ended up selling most of them on the EE for I think 50 cents each.
If you buy in bulk they usually come with a pile of charging spoons.
As others have said the PoPo usually leave the Thermold clips laying around. Sometimes even the mag chargers.
