AR15 Upper Values

I got myself a 7.62 X 39 AR15 this summer, and was thinking of getting an upper for 5.56......

My Ar15 is an entry level AR, and would like to get an entry level upper ........but most used ones are almost as expensive as new AR15s.

Should I wait and see the market bringing cheaper uppers, or should I just get another AR15 in the 600-700$ price range?

A basic flat top Complete upper is about $500.

just buy a SW mp15. Most upper here USED is about the same price, now for the extra 100$ish over a used upper, you have another complete AR

Colt SP1 uppers are about $500 if you are looking for the classic old Vietnam look.

You might vonsider buying something like an M&P and then selling the complete lower for a couple hundred bucks.

Buy a cheap AR and upgrade the parts as you see fit.
