ar15 vs springfield socom

For that reason, having the 18.5" bbl M1A would seem to be the best choice.

Restricted doesn't really bother me, but it lacks the portability of the non-restricted.

If you could only afford one, the scout seems ideal.

Just buy a norinco m14s and an AR15 for slightly more money than the springfield

I recently picked up a Colt LE 6920 and I'm picking up an old SOCOM 16 this weekend

Socom is cheaper...by the time you get the upper, add the bolt and carrier and get the lower and some mags... plus you need sites as the MRP comes with none... MRP ends up being more cash

I was referring to the cost of ammo.

The springfield is beautiful, but they need to pull their heads out of their butts when it comes to pricing. The average guy can't afford to even look at one.
