Got the chance to blast an old Costa Mesa Armalite AR180 today, built on a Nodak Spud lower. Absolute delight to shoot, especially having my SP1 right there to compare with.
And of course, I had to try stock folded from the hip...

Nice. Was the chopped rear section of the 180 lower receiver just epoxied to the nodak lower?
Welded the stock assy on to the rear of the Nodak. It's a bit longer than original but works as intended without more modification.

Oh wow, I’m genuinely curious how you welded the stamped steel stock assembly to the aluminum nodak lower. Sounds innovative and I want to know more haha
#### you're right now that I think of it, looked like welds and felt solid, I'll have to ask my buddy what he did.
As far as I'm tracking, they have bolt on adapters, or a pseudo AR180 stock, but not for the original folding assy.
