I recently posted that the pin boss on the lower receiver of my AR180B broke.

To update the situation I sent pics then I sent the lower to Wolverine and John and Randy came through for me, Armalite has agreed to warranty the lower and the guys at Wolverine where very good to deal with and I even received a call from John this morning to inform me of the good news and said that if he would of had a rifle in stock he would of took the lower from that one and sent it to me but since he's out of stock I will have to wait until the end of January, but at least I don't have to pay.

I wasn't the original owner of this rifle and the 1 yr warranty will be over anytime if it isn't already done and The guys at Wolverine supplies and Armalite didn't hassle me about it and they where very helpful and they have a satisfied customer.

That's good.

From what I have heard that isn't an unusual failure.
I'm really surprised that Armalite hasn't built a reinforcement into the boss.
Must be cheaper to replace the ones that break.

It's certainly not soldier proof!

Good for John/Wolverine and Armalite. Great ending.

x2 I think they both deserve a an A+ on the costomer satisfaction. So refreshing to know Armalite cares about us little Canadians :D

(PS: For the War? Against the War? WHO CARES! 500 post for me!)
If you don't watch South Park, then you just won't get it.

Pathfinder, Sure as soon as I get it up and running you can have at her, I don't blame the rifle for this problem, I think the previous owner may have let it swing open a couple times, that combined with a weak casting. ( the casting looks porous at the point where it broke.

John is someone I would never hesitate to buy from. The service is second to none. If there is ever a warrantee issue he will strip a gun in stock, fix yours then fight with the company. You can't do better than that.

John, Pat, and Ryan are top notch! Just ordered all the bits and pieces to build my M4 copy for US shoots next year...I gotta slow down on the Xmas presents to myself though...:p
