AR180b changes?

There are currently two AR180B versions. There is the origonal version we are used to in Canada with the integral muzzle brake.

There is also a new version (post "post ban") with a threaded barrel. The threaded barrel version is restricted and as such has not been imported into Canada.

As far as I know there are no plans for a "flat top" model. The picture you have posted is from the Shot show of 2005 and is the only known model in that configuration.

Thanks for the quick reply. Some how I know you would be the first to reply - good to have you as the 'in-house expert' on the AR180b's!:)
I"d use the 'hail - bowdown' icon, but don't seem to see one.

I see the Armalite website has a rail in their accessories section that looks exactly like a Stormwerkz rail.

Armie, your right, that's no excuse not to buy a 180b.... just get the Stormwerkz rail and bolt it on.

There is no bolting on of the StormWerkz rail, it is a quick detach mount :D
The rail mount Armalite sells is a knock off , made by someone else.

I am leaving for the Himalayas monday and any orders received while I am gone will be shipped out on the 10th of September.
