ar180b question

I just came across these and was wondering about .22 conversions for them. Does anyone make them? and/or do standard colt ar-15 conversions fit?

dont think so the barrel is welded into the reciver so no rechambering for a 22 and the 180b is a gas piston wich is diffrent than the ar 15

Nope. Could use a chamber adaptor I spose, but it would only be single shot.

The barrels are actually threaded into a barrel extension. I have removed many barrels to cut, crown and thread for muzzle breaks.
I wish I had a .22 adapter for the Ar-15, would be neat to see what it would take to make the adaption.
Maybe make an aluminum bolt carrier for the 180B to fit the .22 bolt into.

the .22 kits are straight blowback. It doesn't matter if the rifle is direct gas or piston. I bet it could be done.

I plan to make a 9mm upper some day, I don't see why a .22 upper couldn't be done.

Thanks for the responses!. I think I'll go ahead and buy one these and see if I can make a conversion. I believe I read these take same mags as ar-15's?.
Btw the only reason I am so curious is because these are non restricted and I refuse to buy any restricted long gun.If I can't take it to the bush to shoot I don't want it. Will be some time, but I'll post back on progression.
