AR180B Stock Question

If an AR180b has been altered to accept an AR15 stock, is the alteration permanent, or can the original still be used?

The answer is, it depends.
Most mods require completely removing the stock extension. Some don't. Either way, why the hell would you go back to the original?

I have sentimental feeling towards the original AR180, and like the appearance.

I don't blame you, I love my Stirling AR180.

I just cruised Storm Werkz website and see they have an adapter that allows you to return to the original stock. You can even mount it on a folding mechanism.

That's what I did with mine. It requires you to buy their type 1 and type 3 AR-180B stock adaptors, and the folding stock mechanism they carry as well.

However, this route isn't for everyone, as it adds another inch or so to the stock's length.

You can drop the folding part and just mount the stock with adapter right on the receiver mount for the folder,should save you some LOP.

Good point. I like having the folding stock on mine, though.
